By bus and tram

Tram B - Grenoble Oxford / Gières Plaine des sports.

• 25-minute journey from Grenoble train station to the "Bibliothèques universitaires" stop on campus

• 5-minute journey from Gières train station to the "Bibliothèques universitaires"  stop on campus

Tram C - Saint-Martin-d'Hères Condillac Universités.

• 12 minutes journey from Chavant (Town center) to Arrêt "Bibliothèques Universitaires" 

 Itinerary from the tram stop Bibliothèque Universitaire - Tram B & C :

Bus C5, C7 : stop "Sciences Sociales".

By train

• Depending on where you need to get to, get off at the Grenoble or Gières university train stations.

Taking the motorway to Grenoble from:

• Chambéry: A41 - Chambéry (57km), Annecy (106km), Geneva (141km)
• Lyon: A48 - Lyon (116km), Paris (576km)
• Valence: A49 - Valence (96km)

Reaching the campus from:

• Grenoble: junction 1 via Avenue Gabriel Péri
• Saint-Martin-d'Hères: junction 2 via Avenue Gabriel Péri and Champ Roman
• Rocade Sud (Ring road South): junction 3, "Domaine universitaire" (University complex)

By air

Travelling from Grenoble Isère Airport

• Aéroport de Grenoble-Isère, tél. +33 (0)4 76 65 48 48
• A Transisère département-level network service runs from Grenoble Isère Airport to Grenoble (get off at the bus station "Gare routière"). The journey takes around 40 minutes.

Travelling from Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport

• Aéroport de Lyon Satolas, tél. 0 826 800 826
• There is a coach service running from the airport to Grenoble. Services run daily, every hour from 6am to 11pm.
• The journey takes around 1 hour. Get off at the Grenoble bus station "gare routière" stop and continue on to the university by tram.

Travelling from Geneva airport

• Aéroport de Genève, tél. 0 848 700 700 (2h15 from Grenoble)
• A coach service is running from the airport to Grenoble. Service run daily, every hour from 6am to 11pm
• Get off at the Grenoble Bus Station “gare routière”, from there take the Tram B to university.
